In 2024, Annie discovered Phi, the global leader in permanent makeup and creator of PhiBrows, a discovery that marked a defining new chapter in her professional journey. She went on to complete her PhiBrows certification in January 2025 and subsequently trained internationally travelling to Rome to master PhiLips Blush and to Serbia to train directly under Phi founder Branko Babic in BB Stroke.
BB Stroke is a revolutionary technique that unites the finest qualities of traditional microblading with the precision of machine brows, producing ultra-realistic hair strokes with superior colour retention. Alongside this, Annie deepened her expertise in Plasma Skin Tightening.

Semi-permanent makeup (SPMU) uses specialised pigments implanted into the upper layers of the skin to create the appearance of fuller brows, defined lips, or enhanced features. Brow treatments typically last between 12 and 24 months. PhiLips Blush generally lasts 2 3 years. A colour boost appointment is recommended to maintain your result.
A topical numbing cream is applied before your treatment to maximise comfort. Most clients describe the sensation as a light scratching or mild pressure entirely manageable. Annie ensures her clients feel relaxed and at ease every step of the way.
Avoid alcohol for 24 hours prior, avoid retinol or AHA/BHA skincare for at least two weeks before, and arrive with a clean face free from makeup. Avoid tanning or excessive sun exposure and inform Annie of any medications or medical conditions at the time of booking.
PhiBrows is a hand-tool microblading technique producing crisp, realistic hair strokes ideal for normal to dry skin. BB Stroke is a hybrid technique combining microblading with machine work, delivering natural hair strokes with significantly better colour retention particularly suited to oily or mature skin. Annie will advise during your consultation.
Full brow appointments typically take 2.5 3 hours including consultation, numbing and the treatment. PhiLips Blush appointments are usually 2 2.5 hours. Annie works without time pressure every appointment is given the full attention it deserves.
A patch test may be required depending on your skin history and the treatment you choose. A thorough medical history review is conducted prior to all treatments. Your health and safety always come first.
Annie's studio is at Suite 5, Marlborough House, 26 High Street, Swindon, SN1 3EP. The Marlborough Square Car Park is directly across the road, making your visit completely stress-free. Annie works by appointment only.
Plasma Skin Tightening is not suitable for all skin types. Clients with very dark or deeply pigmented skin, active skin conditions, pacemakers, or those who are pregnant or breastfeeding may not be eligible. Annie will carry out a detailed assessment to ensure the safest outcome for your skin.
